PRP treatment in Sutton-in-Ashfield

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The platelets are concentrated and returned to the skin, where their growth factors support the skin's own repair.

What it treats

Is it right for you?

  • Tired, thin or crepey skin
  • The under-eye area
  • Fine lines and uneven texture
  • Skin quality, alongside microneedling

How it works

What happens

A small blood sample is taken from your arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. This takes about 10 minutes.

The PRP is then placed in the skin with fine injections, or applied during microneedling. Because it comes from your own blood, allergic reactions are unlikely.
