Skin boosters in Sutton-in-Ashfield

Small amounts of hyaluronic acid, a moisture-holding substance found naturally in skin, placed through the treated area to improve hydration and skin quality. Skin boosters do not change the shape of your face.

What it treats

Is it right for you?

  • Dry, dull or dehydrated skin
  • Fine lines on the face, neck, chest and hands
  • Crepey skin, including under the eyes (selected products)
  • Skin that looks tired after sun exposure or weight loss

How it works

What happens

Hyaluronic acid draws in and holds water. Placed in the skin in small amounts, it improves hydration and supports the skin's own collagen.

We use several products and choose the one that suits your skin and the area treated. Results build over the course rather than overnight.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are skin boosters the same as fillers?

No. Fillers add volume and shape. Skin boosters spread through the skin to improve hydration and quality, without changing your features.

Do they hurt?

We use numbing cream, and most products contain a local anaesthetic. Most people describe it as a series of small scratches.

How long do results last?

Usually around six months, so most people have a maintenance session once or twice a year.

Can I combine skin boosters with other treatments?

Yes. They work well alongside peels, microneedling and a home skincare plan, spaced appropriately.
