Ageing skin
Skin changes with age in several ways at once: lines, loss of firmness, thinner skin, uneven tone and loss of volume. No single treatment addresses all of these, so we assess your skin and face, then build a plan around what matters most to you.
What changes, and why
- Sun exposure is a major cause of lines, uneven tone and rough texture on exposed skin.
- The skin makes less collagen and elastin over time, so it becomes thinner and less firm.
- Changes in fat and bone alter the shape of the face and how light falls on it.

Where to start
Daily sunscreen and a skincare plan come first, because they protect your skin and any treatment you have. We will explain which treatments suit you, in what order, and what each costs, in a written plan.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What age should I start?
There is no set age. Daily sunscreen is worthwhile at any age. Treatments are chosen for the changes you have, not for your age.
Will I look different?
Our aim is healthier-looking skin, not a change in how you look. You will have the plan, the costs and the risks in writing before you decide.
Can treatments be combined?
Often, yes, though not always on the same day. Your written plan sets out the order and spacing.
